Artist's Comments

Not too sure about this one...
Taken a few months ago, before winter arrived.
Location; right outside my apartment. Trondheimsfjorden, with Munkholmen all the way on the right.

The high contrasts: I converted the photo to greyscale, then played with in in duotones. I added the original colors afterwards. Otherwise, nothing done.

Wow this has amazing clarity! Reminds me of Wild Cat Rock near Quinan, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia... Somewheres in Canada.

But the point is that this is an amazing photograph of peace and a place I would go to gather my thoughts.

When someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles to frown, but it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and smack them.

The shadow of the one rock almost appears to be a person standing at water's edge. Beautiful. All the elements of this collide to make something breathtaking.
